This week I have been guilty of missing some of the materialistic pleasures we used to afford when I was working. I missed getting Starbucks on a regular basis.... Buying new clothes each season.... Wearing Dior makeup. The make up probably the most, especially since we just saw Michael. But then we were blessed with a gorgeous Spring day. Scarlett and I joined 10 of our storytime friends at the Metroparks for a long walk. Then we went and had a picnic in Grandma's backyard. We spent the day enjoying the weather and eachother. What a great reminder from God of why I chose to stay at home. Not even the most fabulous, glossiest shade of red lipstick could beat today.
